DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century rare Scottish Victorian Solid Silver set of four candlesticks, each filled shaped base engraved with a crest and chased with shells and floral festoons, flowers and Rococo ornaments, detachable nozzles in a similar design.

The set is exceptionally decorative, made in the Rococo style, the design cloesely reminds the set by Paul de Lamerie considered the greatest silversmith of all time (please follow this link).

Each part is Hallmarked Scottish Silver (925 standard), Edinburgh, year 1888 (g), Maker's mark M&S (Marshall & Sons).

CONDITION

In Excellent condition - No damage, just general wear.
