Antique early-19th Century rare and very important set of twelve Georgian Solid Silver dinner plates, each of shaped-circular form with slanted gadrooned border embellished with cast acanthus leaves, the reverse stamped "850".
Each border is engraved with a Coat of Arms surmounted by a Earl's coronet, motto "Follow Me" below.
Each piece is fully Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1816 (a), Maker's mark P.S (Paul Storr, the greatest silversmith of his era, he served as Royal silversmith producing the most impressive silver objects and services ever made).
CONDITION
In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
