Antique 19th Century Irish matched four piece tea and coffee set, comprising of a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each piece beautifully chased with scrolls and flowers, scenes of cherubs eating grapes, leaf-capped handles applied terminating with cast female heads, each piece standing on shaped domed foot, lids are surmounted by a cast finial beautifully modelled as a seated Oriental man. Sides engraved with impressive family crests and moto; Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re (Gentle in manner, resolute in deed). All parts are Hallmarked Irish silver (925 standard), Dublin, coffee pot year 1834 (O) and maker EP (Edward Power), teapot year 1826 (F), sugar bowl 1830 (K), cream jug 1833 (N), Maker CM (Charles Marsh)
