19th Century Georgian silver Punch bowl, of compressed hemispherical form with richly gilt interior and gadrooned borders, the sides are embossed with a Mythological bacchanalia depicting Bacchus, Silenus and nymphs with satyrs and playing putti in a woodland setting, exceptional quality of decoration. The front engraved with a large coat of arms (of Wright quartering Drake impaling Mosley for the marriage of a third son of Wright of Bolton Hall, Bolton by Bolland, Craven, Yorkshire to a daughter of Mosley of Rolleston Hall, Burton on Trent).
