DESCRIPTION
Antique 18th Century Georgian rare and exceptional Solid Silver set of four Sauce Tureens, each navette-shaped on rectangular pedestal feet, applied reeded rim with twin angular handles, matching domed covers terminating with a circular reeded handle. Each body engraved with coat of arms (the set was probably commissioned for an important wedding), matching family crest on each cover.
A complete set of four 18th Century tureens is extremely rare, this features a particularly heavy gauge and is in great condition. All parts are Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, year 1793 (s), Maker's mark RS (Robert Sharp).

In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
