Antique 18th Century rare and magnificent Georgian Solid Silver bread / fruit / cake basket, of oval form, raised on an oval foot, both profusely pierced and applied with cast decorative rims, hinged swing handle featuring the same design, the centre is engraved with a large coat of arms. This is an extraordinary piece, in perfect condition, the base is Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1774 (T), Maker's mark CAHG (Chas. Aldridge & Henry Green), rubbed marks to the handle.
