Description
Antique 18th Century rare Georgian Solid Silver pair of impressive and particularly unusual column shaped candlesticks, each of square section, modelled with openwork husk-form candle cups, fitted with conforming removable nozzles (unmarked, but acid tested show a 925 standard and appear to be original by design). The filled stepped base with scroll ribband borders, engraved with an armorial. Both bases are Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, one year 1765 (k), Maker's mark EV (probably Edward Vincent). Condition
In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear. Nozzles not hallmarked but appear to be original, numbered 1-1, 2-2.
