Antique 18th Century rare George II Solid Silver tea kettle on a three feet burner stand, bullet shaped body with later chased foliate, floral and scroll decoration, hinged lid with pine cone finial, swing raffia clad handle, stand on three cast shell feet with central burner, one side is engraved with a family crest.
The base of the kettle and stand are Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1752 (r), Maker's mark B.G for the rare Huguenot silversmith Benjamin Gignac.
CONDITION
In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear and raffia later replaced.
