Antique mid-18th Century George II solid silver cake / bread basket, of shaped oval form, with pierced foliage scroll sides with applied cast and openwork grapevine border, with figural overhead swing handle modelled as a dolphin, it rests on a cast openwork base with masks and lion masks. The centre is engraved with a large and decorative coat of arms, the handle is engraved with a crest.
