Antique 17th Century James II Solid Silver Tazza, particularly large, raised on a circular foot, embossed slanted gardooned borders, the centre is engraved with an original inverted cypher monogram, the reverse bearing initials "S.D". Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, year 1687 (letter slightly rubbed but appers to be "k"), Maker's mark PM (unknown silversmith documented in the late 17th Century, please see Jackson's p. 138.
