18th Century Georgian and early 20th Century American unique matched set of twelve goblets, each resting on a square base, parcel gilt, lobed body chased with flowers, vacant cartouche.
The set composing of a rare 18th Century Georgian solid silver goblet and another eleven identical goblets to match the Georgian one. The set is impressive and extremely decorative, a one off, the owner commissioned to an important American manufacturer to copy the early piece and make a complete set of 12 otherwise impossible to find.
One goblet is Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1788 (n), Maker's mark I.K (John King, important silversmith), all the other goblets are Hallmarked American silver (925), Maker's marks for Baltimore Silversmiths Mfg. Co, active 1903-1905.

Co, active 1903-1905 (after the company changed to Heer-Schofield Co), producing high-quality repousse' silverware.
