ANTIQUE 19thC FRENCH ORMOLU & WHITE MARBLE FIREPLACE WITH IRON INSERTS c.1850

Antique mid-19th Century French Empire white marble fireplace with ormolu mounts. The moulded panelled jambs applied with gilt bronze laurel foliage swags with rosettes on each corner, fitted with the surround cast iron fire back, fire pit and backboard centered by a musical trophy. This superb fireplace adds elegance and sophistication to any interior, working well in a traditional, mid-century or even modern setting and oozes timeless style and quality.
