ANTIQUE 20thC LOUIS VUITTON WARDROBE TRUNK IN ORANGE "VUITTONITE" CANVAS c.1920

20th Century wardrobe trunk by Louis Vuitton. Covered in the famous orange “Vuittonite“ canvas, this vertical trunk opens to reveal drawers to one side and hangers to the other. Trunks in this type of finish are rarer than its monogrammed brothers, it is a stain and water resistant canvas that was used on Vuitton’s trunks from the turn of the century to 1920‘s. Trunks covered with orange Vuittonite canvas are nowadays rather rare and therefore appreciated by collectors. Truly a great opportunity to own a collector’s piece that is a great focal point for any interior.

20th Century very rare wardrobe trunk by Louis Vuitton. Covered in the famous orange “Vuittonite“ canvas, this horizontal courier trunk is much rarer than its monogrammed brothers with its stain and water resistant canvas that was used on Vuitton’s trunks from the turn of the century to 1920‘s. 20th century Louis Vuitton trunk covered in the world famous LV monogrammed canvas, with its lozine borders and brass fitting this trunk would have been the top of the line even at the time of purchase over 100 years ago. ANTIQUE 20thC RARE LOUIS VUITTON "MALLE AERO" TRUNK, PARIS c.1920

20th Century ‘Malle Aero’ (Aeroplane Trunk) in the world famous monogram Louis Vuitton canvas with leather and brass trim, with near mint-condition interior. The ‘Malle Aero’ was designed by twin brothers Pierre and Jean Vuitton, in 1910. Designed to be light in weight, compact and versatile, the ‘Aero’ weighed only 26 kgs when packed with a prescribed list of contents.
